Infusion Center
The Rivers Health Infusion Center is staffed by highly skilled registered nurses who specialize in the administration of chemotherapy and hematology medications, fluid hydration and blood products.
The center provides services as well as ongoing outpatient infusion treatments for patients with rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, neuropathies, Crohn’s Disease, osteoporosis, and other immune system problems including transfusions of blood and blood products and antibiotic infusion treatments for infections. Patients can be referred to the Rivers Health Infusion Center for tests, procedures and infusions that previously required a hospital admission or home care services.
Patients who require intravenous (IV) medication therapy during a hospital stay can continue their treatments at the center as an outpatient.
